Easton is a delightful village standing amongst rolling Suffolk countryside. Easton Hall was the English seat of the Duke and Duchess of Hamilton. Easton Hall no longer survives, at least not in this country for it was demolished in the 1920s and shipped to America and rebuilt on a ranch. The only surviving piece of the estate is the 18th century crinkle-crankle wall which is reputed to be the longest in the world. |
