THE PORT OF FELIXSTOWE
Today's weather: A lovely sunny autumn day.

A large container ship being loaded.

These rotting posts are all that remains of a jetty, it probably looked like the one in the next picture. |

The underside of a jetty. |

After last weeks storms and high tides there's plenty of flotsam and jetsam around.

Another ship arrives, this one is a roll-on
roll-off ferry which plies it trade between
Felixstowe and Holland.

As one ship arrives another one is leaving. |

A plaque in memory of a second world war aircrew who crashed and lost their lives in this area in June 1940. |

The inscription reads... |

This futuristic glass walled building is the custom house. |
