These rotting posts are all that remains of a jetty, it probably looked like the one in the next picture.

FLOTSAM AND JETSAM

After last weeks storms and high tides there's plenty of flotsam and jetsam around.

 

SHIP ENTERING PORT

Another ship arrives, this one is a roll-on roll-off ferry which plies it trade between
Felixstowe and Holland.

 

SHIP LEAVING PORT

As one ship arrives another one is leaving.

 

MEMORIAL PLAQUE

A plaque in memory of a second world war aircrew who crashed and lost their lives in this area in June 1940.
