LOWESTOFT FISH FAYRE
Today's weather: Very hot and sunny after a dull start.
The Lowestoft fish fayre is an annual
event which pays tribute to the local fishing industry,
its a chance for locals and visitors
alike to see how the fishing industry works, to look over
various ships and see demonstrations, and more
importantly it raises money for various
fishing charities.

Plenty of stalls selling all kinds of fish and shellfish.

This stall sold some exotic species, which aren't caught around our shores.

Plenty of visitors looking around the various craft stalls.

Some of the boats on display include, in the front
a fisheries protection vessel, behind that
is the Lowestoft lifeboat and behind her is a historic
motor torpedo boat from world war 2.

After all the other jobs are done there's always the brass to polish.
