HALESWORTH
Today's weather: A very dull and gray day with showers.
Its such a dull day today that I don't think the photographs do Halesworth justice, I'll have to go back in the summer when the weather is better. |

Looking up Bridge Street with the new library in the centre. |

The river Blyth runs through the town and this riverside walk along Rectory Lane must be lovely in the summer. |

Further down Rectory Lane I came to this Crinkle Crankle wall with a very small gate in it only about 3 foot high. |

Colourful houses in Steeple End near the church. |

The parish church of St Mary the Virgin, note the photograph was taken at exactly 12 Noon. |

Presumably this building, now a hairdressing salon was once the White Lion public house. |

Very few people about in the Thoroughfare today. |

The 16th century Angel Inn. |
Just to brighten up today's posting I've included some photos of a spectacular sunrise at Lowestoft last Friday, all photos taken between 7.15 and 7.30 am. |

Sunrise over Lowestoft Harbour. |

Reflections of the sun on the South Pier. |

After a few minutes the sky turned this very deep red. |
