HALESWORTH

Today's weather: A very dull and gray day with showers.

Its such a dull day today that I don't think the photographs do Halesworth justice, I'll have to go back in the summer when the weather is better.

Bridge street

Looking up Bridge Street with the new library in the centre.

Rectory Lane

The river Blyth runs through the town and this riverside walk along Rectory Lane must be lovely in the summer.

Crinkle crankle wall

Further down Rectory Lane I came to this Crinkle Crankle wall with a very small gate in it only about 3 foot high.

Colourful houses

Colourful houses in Steeple End near the church.

St Mary the Virgin parish church

The parish church of St Mary the Virgin, note the photograph was taken at exactly 12 Noon.

Once the White Lion public house

Presumably this building, now a hairdressing salon was once the White Lion public house.

 The Thoroughfare

Very few people about in the Thoroughfare today.

The Angel Inn

The 16th century Angel Inn.

Just to brighten up today's posting I've included some photos of a spectacular sunrise at Lowestoft last Friday, all photos taken between 7.15 and 7.30 am.
