CLOVELLY

The picturesque village of Clovelly with it's cobbled streets, where no vehicles are allowed and donkeys were used to haul goods to and from the village. |

The steep cobbled street leads to the tiny harbour . |

Clovelly still has its resident donkeys, this one doesn't seen to like the cat much as he's sticking his tongue out at it. |

Even for the donkeys it's a hard walk back up the steep street so a snacks called for first before they start. |

The steepness of the cobbled street can be clearly seen in this picture. |
ALLERFORD (SOMERSET)

The Packhorse Bridge at Allerford. |

Another view of the bridge, this time from the other side. |
MORTEHOE

The rugged beach at Mortehoe. |

Mortehoe church.

The narrow street through the village definitely wasn't built with today's traffic in mind. |
