LOWESTOFT HARBOUR AND SEAFRONT
Today's weather: Dull and wet.
Miserable weather today, so I've posted a few
photographs of Lowestoft harbour and
seafront taken earlier in the week when the weather was
better.

Lowestoft's lifeboat "The Spirit of Lowestoft" must be away for repairs or a refit at the moment as this is a reserve lifeboat. |

|
The "Mincarlo" is the last surviving Lowestoft built and engined side-fishing trawler, she was built in 1960 she and after a varied history including conversion to a oil rig standby vessel is now fully restored and on display in the harbour. |

Lowestoft pierheads, looking out onto a dead calm sea.

More modern and purpose built rig standby ships.

Quite a few people enjoying a drink and lunch
in the autumn sunshine including the
obligitory seaside fish and chips!.

|
Although a warm September day only a couple of people were brave enough to venture into the water for a paddle. |

A dramatic looking evening sky over the inner harbour. |
