A few pictures this week from a short walk around Lowestoft seafront.

Lowestoft's Christ church is the most Easterly church in Great Britain; the church was built for the Beachmen and Fishermen of Lowestoft and opened in February 1869. The area around the church was known as the beach village but none of the houses remain today.

This building built in 1903 houses the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club.

Masts and boats galore in the marina.

This modern looking building on the South pier is the lifeboat crew HQ.

and these are two of the lifeboat crew!

Nobody on the beach yet but the dog walkers will soon be out in force.
