NORTH LOWESTOFT.
Belle Vue park & Sparrows Nest.

This former park keepers cottage in Belle vue park was destroyed by fire
a few years ago and at a cost
of £90,000 was restored to it`s former glory. It was secretly
photographed in 1999 and modelled
into a Lilliput lane cottage called " The Birthday cottage".

..

How the Lilliput lane model looks, as you can see a certain amount of poetic licence has been used.

These cannons were buried during the second world war for
safekeeping and forgotten about until
the early 70`s, when they were restored and mounted in their present position.

Sparrows Nest was once a private estate, it was taken over during the war and turned into
a naval
base and renamed "HMS EUROPA" and used by the Royal naval patrol service, it now houses the
Royal naval patrol service museum.

Lowestoft`s maritime museum.
..

Lighthouse score, one of the ancient alleyways which led to the old beach village, and Lowestoft`s lighthouse, now like all lighthouse`s in the country automated.
