ORFORD
Today's weather: Sunny, but very windy.
|
Orford is separated from the sea by Orford Ness Europe's largest vegetated shingle spit, it is now owned by the National Trust and is a site of special scientific interest but during most of the 20th century it was a top secret military establishment and was even used to test parts for atomic weapons. |
