PAKEFIELD

Today's weather: A bright sunny day after a cold start.

A few photos of Pakefield taken today after work, it's so nice to able to get out now that the lighter evenings have finally arrived.

The lovely thatched church of All Saints and St Margaret.

Flymo and Chalky a pair of environmentally friendly lawnmowers keep the graveyard looking neat and tidy.

Flint faced cottages built nearly 200 years ago seen from the churchyard.

Looking towards Lowestoft

Looking north from Pakefield towards Lowestoft, the large object in the background is an oil or gas platform being built in the harbour.

The Armada beacon on the cliff top.


Trowel and Hammer public house

The Trowel and Hammer, reputedly the oldest registered public house in Lowestoft.
