RECREATION OF OLD SHOP

The lifeboat museum building has a historical importance of it's own, it was the old Cromer
lifeboat shed and was built in 1923 on the end of Cromer pier, it was removed in 1997
when a new shed was built, it was taken by sea to Lowestoft where it was stored until
it was aquired by the trust to house the old Southwold lifeboat 'Alfred Corry' which was
built in 1893.
