Southwold Pier is britian's newest pier.

Although offically opened last month the pier is far from complete.

To help cover the cost of building the pier members of the public are able to buy
plaques which are displayed along the handrails of the pier.

The clock has become quite a crowd pleaser, especially with children.

This plaque shows details on how the clock works.

Well the water has to escape somehow !

But modesty is soon restored.

The water also makes the tulips grow.
