WALBERSWICK VILLAGE
|
Terrible weather this weekend, so I'm posting some photographs of Walberswick village taken a few weeks ago. |

The 600-year-old Bell Inn stands near the centre
of the village close to both the
harbour and the village green.

Children at play on the village green. |

|
Can anyone guess what this horse if made out of..? Yes it's an old car tyre. |

Restaurants and antique shops attract many
visitors to the village, even at this
time of year.

Even the village seat has a lovely thatched roof.

Looking up the main street towards the church. |

|
This lovely old cottage stands in the main street, built in 1785 it must have seen many changes to the village. |

|
The present day church of St Andrew was built in the 18th century within the ruins of a much larger and grander 15th century church, which fell into disrepair when the village went into decline in the 16th century. |
