WAVENEY VALLEY

Today's weather: A bright and sunny day but bitterly cold.

Winter and flooding came to the Waveney Valley this week. These pictures were taken between Beccles and Bungay.

 

Flooded fields

Snow covering those parts of the fields that were not flooded by the River Waveney.

An oddly shaped tree beside the road.

Beccles Tower

The 16th century Beccles Tower, the most visible landmark in the area which can be seen for many miles around.
